Well Hello again….I’m back!

It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted here. It’s been a journey for me in so many ways. I’m still actively researching and I’m now the genealogist for Clan Donald of Canada. I’m attending their AGM in 2 weeks and get to meet the Chief of Glengarry!

I’m also moving in 2 weeks. Just before Covid, we had purchased a how in West Kelowna, BC and then BAM- the world stopped. We decided to not move, but instead build our dream home here in Ontario. Although it’s going to be fabulous…we all know the stresses of moving. This will be our 4th move in 2 years!

I have a new website http://www.sandramoffattgenealogicalresearch.com which I invite you all to visit. My love for the detective work in genealogy never wavers and I’d love to be able to help anyone interesting in discovering more about their ancestry.

Alexander Macdonald III of Boisdale, an ancestor of my husband. He fought for the British in the American revolution.

About tiesthatbindsite

I'm a genealogist with a passion for Scottish and English ancestry. I'm trilingual so I can also do research in French Canadian records and Italian records. My love for family history began 35 years ago and continues to grow every day. My family is very important to me and I hope to instill in them a love for "where they came from" so that they can better understand who they are. I also want to share my love of family history with anyone who understands how important it is to not lose site of their ancestors. They all have a story to tell.
